    The science of nutrition is the art of being in control of your health. Everyone wants to be healthy. What does it mean? For me, it is getting up in the morning and being able to enjoy my day, feeling light, inspired, and full of energy. Yesterday, during one of my runs, I saw an old lady who came to visit her grandchildren. She’d just parked her car and was hauling the packages into the house.     Courage to Reach Out

    Last week was very stressful for me. My husband had surgery. I dropped him at the hospital and had to leave. I’m still feeling pain thinking about that day and how everything that was happening affected me. I’m grateful I had support. To tell the truth, I didn’t even think I had it, but at the times like this, it’s better to find the strength and courage to look for support.     I have been looking through the women’s magazine today and one phrase rang my bell “Love is not just a feeling – it is an attitude”. This concept of choosing my attitude toward everything that happens in my life has been working well for me. I consciously make a decision to choose what I want to see and how I want to feel.     Loneliness During Holidays

    It’s Christmas season and there is a cheerful buzz coming from everywhere. Stores have been selling Christmas presents, trees, ornaments since October. Christmas music plays everywhere. Cinnamon and nutmeg fragrances remind us about Christmas baking and cooking. People are buying gifts wrapping paper and sending cards, having parties at work. Kids are practicing Christmas songs getting ready for concerts in schools and nurseries. Christmas comes with all kinds of manifestations, which bring joy, cheer, warmth and a sense of belonging.
